Bluetouch's Ultimate Host can be protected by a Shared Firewall solution. Each Server will be behind a Shared firewall with a standard set of open ports. For an additional charge, this can be upgraded to a Virtual firewall where the customer can create custom rule sets to control exactly which ports are open and closed.
The Virtual Firewall solution is based on a high availability pair of Fortinet Fortigate 3600 high throughput firewalls.
The Fortigate 3600 Firewall delivers best-of-breed network protection services. This gigabit-capacity unit is designed to meet the most stringent requirements for performance and reliability, and include redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans to minimise single-point failures, and also support redundant fail-over with no interruption in service.
